С 25 по 29 апреля в Сан-Франциско, Калифорния, проходит 2011 MRS Spring Meeting and Exhibit. Профессор Юрий Гогоци избран в MRS Fellow
Одним из важнейших событий на Materials Research Society Spring Meeting in San Francisco at Moscone West является почетное награждение и избрание MRS Fellow 2011 наиболее выдающихся членов сообщества материаловедов, известных ученых, заслуженных деятелей за наибольший вклад в развитие науки. В 2011 году одним из них стал директор Института Нанотехнологий Университета Дрекселя (DNI), Филадельфия, США, профессор Юрий Георгиевич Гогоци (Y.Gogotsi)(см. на фото внизу).
2011 MRS Spring Meeting включает 51 технический симпозиум, международную выставку, а также множество уникальных специальных мероприятий, 8 cеминаров и др.
В этом году среди самых актуальных тем на MRS Spring Meeting :солнечные батареи, наноматериалы, фотокатализ, электроника, биоматериалы, графен.
