Профессор Юрий Гогоци

Ученый из Украины профессор Юрий Гогоци (Yury Gogotsi)  директор Института Нанотехнологий Университета Дрекселя, США, по версии агенства Thomson-Reuters признан Highly Cited Researcher 2014 - одним из 147 наиболее цитируемых ученых во всем мире в области материаловедения в 2014 году.

По этому показателю также в значительной степени определяют ранг университетов и научных организаций  в мире.

Стоит отметить, что среди украинских ученых в общий список , который охватывает более 3000 ученых из 21 области науки, не вошел никто.

Например, из всех российский ученых в рейтинге наиболее цитируемых упоминается всего 8 исследователей, из которых только 5 постоянно работают в России, а трое  за рубежом.

Никто из ученых других стран постсоветского пространства, включая Молдову и Грузию, которые также, как и Украина, в этом году стали ассоциированными членами Европейского Союза, в этот престижный список Thomson-Reuters не включен.
