The 10th International Symposium on the Characterization of Porous Solids-COPS-X, May 11-14, 2014 |

The 10th International Symposium on the Characterization of Porous Solids (COPS-X) in Granada (Spain) is devoted to characterization of porous solids and their understanding as fundamental issues due to the requirements of our modern society for the design/synthesis of novel systems with advanced properties for specific applications.
The aim of the conference is to bring together experts from academia and industry in order to share the latest developments in the characterization of porous solids by either experimental, theoretical or simulation methods, together with the understanding of the relationships between the measured material properties and the final performance for a given application.
All sessions will take place in the Auditorio Manuel de Falla at the Granada Congress & Exhibition Centre. Prof. Yury Gogotsi, Drexel University, Philadelphia, USA was invited to the Conference to give a plenary lecture "Ion confinement in carbon nanopores: Application for electrochemical capacitors" on Tuesday, 13th May 2014.
